Zayn Malik Celebrates Daughter Khai's 4th Birthday with Heartfelt Message
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid recently came together to celebrate their daughter Khai's fourth birthday, marking a special milestone in their little one's life.
Although Zayn and Gigi typically keep Khai out of the public eye, they shared some cherished moments from her birthday celebrations. This occasion clearly holds great significance for both parents.
Fresh off the announcement of his upcoming UK and US tour, Zayn dedicated time to his daughter during this special week. On Thursday, he posted a heartfelt tribute that touched the hearts of many. Sharing a beach photo of himself holding Khai, Zayn expressed his feelings: “Happy birthday to the most important person in my life, I love you more than words allow me to express, beyond proud to call you my daughter.. grateful for every second I get to spend next to you, as you become the incredible person I know you already are.” He added with warmth, “Four years ago today my life changed forever and I wouldn't be the man I am today without you.”
Gigi also joined in on the celebration, posting a collection of photos that offered insights into their family life. From kayaking adventures to a Yoda-themed party complete with a rainbow cake and colorful pony rides, it was evident that Khai's birthday was nothing short of magical.
The proud mom shared on Instagram: “Our girl is 4 today and we celebrated all week!!! She loves animals (fantastical ones too), music, baby yoda, all things nature & bugs, Descendants, anything squishy or miniature, and if possible- will be in the water from dawn til dusk. She is curious, adventurous, loving, and oh so witty. Khai- it is my life's greatest joy and pride to be your mama!!!! In an adorable reveal, Gigi shared an invitation for Khai from Auradon Prep—the fantasy school from Disney's Descendants. This scroll confirmed Khai's full name as Khai Malik for the first time.
Despite their split in 2021 after an on-and-off relationship lasting six years, Gigi and Zayn continue to co-parent Khai with love and commitment. Their joint efforts in celebrating their daughter's birthday demonstrate that family remains a priority regardless of their relationship status.
In a candid conversation earlier this year with Nylon magazine, Zayn reflected on co-parenting with Gigi: “From 21 to 27, I was with Gi, and we had a kid; I didn't really take much time to get to know myself,” he shared. “I only have my daughter 50% of the time. I would have her 90% if I could,” he added. “We go see Disney on Ice or we go see the Nickelodeon theme park. Or we go to the beach. That's how I get out.”
