Usher Offers Support and Advice to Justin Bieber Following Baby Arrival

Usher Reacts to Baby Bieber and Shares Sweet Advice for Justin Bieber and Hailey

Usher is overjoyed that his friend Justin Bieber has someone new to love.

With his former protégé welcoming son Jack Blues Bieber with wife Hailey in August, Usher has important advice for Justin as he embarks on this new chapter of parenthood.

"Love," Usher told. "Love and just enjoy this moment. Savor these moments."

The 45-year-old father of four—Cinco, 16; Naviyd, 15; Sovereign, 3; and Sire, 2—understands how challenging it can be to balance parenting with a career in the entertainment industry. He hopes that Justin and Hailey cherish every moment during this precious newborn stage.

"These moments are so valuable," Usher continued. "Between the first and the third months—oh my God. This is the magic moment."

Having known Justin since he was just 13 years old, Usher is excited for him to experience the joys of a child's love.

"When you look in your child's eyes and all of the things that you want to invest in terms of time and love and patience," he added, "it's the beginning of a journey like none other. It's one of the greatest rewards you will ever have in life."

Despite his busy schedule—working on his Past Present Future tour while celebrating the release of his film in theaters until September 15—Usher makes it a priority to spend quality time with his family. He particularly enjoys weekends when he can see his children or fly home to be with them.

"I get weekends to see the kids," he explained. "Of course, every day I try to talk with them before bedtime, making sure I understand what happened at school today if I'm not able to get on a plane and get back home."

Usher has previously spoken about how meaningful fatherhood is to him. During his acceptance speech at the 2024 BET Awards in June, he emphasized its significance.

"It's important to understand that fatherhood is so important," Usher said. "For all the fathers tonight at home or in the audience, I would like for y'all to stand up just for two seconds for me."

He added, "Far too often, we get to this moment and we say to our mothers, 'Look Ma, I made it.' We don't get a chance to say enough, 'Dad I did it.' So this one is for all of the men out there being generals to their sons and motivation for our future Black leaders—young men."
