Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner Channel Simple Life with Their Costumes

Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner are bringing back the nostalgia of Simple Life.

The best friend duo paid homage to Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton in their Halloween costumes. Embracing a blonde look and classic denim reminiscent of the 2003 show’s poster, they even recreated a memorable scene where they assisted with yard work and faced some playful teasing.

“I have respect for myself and this is my best friend, so I have respect for her,” Hailey declared, holding a pitchfork in a TikTok video shared on October 31. “I’m making dead f--king honest right now that if you call me dumb or call her dumb one more time, I don’t care how many steroids you take, how many egg yolks you drink, how many push-ups you do, I’m being dead f--king serious. I will beat your f--king face in. You think I haven’t done it? I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again.”

Kendall, dressed as Paris, stood beside her nodding while cradling a small puppy.

The tribute received approval from both Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Paris commented, “Icons recognize icons,” adding, “Obsessed with this!” Meanwhile, Nicole reposted the clip on her Instagram Stories with a simple message: “I’m obsessed.”

This costume idea was perfect for Kendall and Hailey, who share a bond similar to that of Nicole and Paris.

“I feel like both you and I have experienced—whether it be business or self-love—we’ve seen each other thrive at different times,” Kendall reflected during Hailey’s YouTube series Who’s In My Bathroom. “We've been there for each other through it all without letting anything get in the way of our friendship.”

Hailey agreed wholeheartedly: “Especially in the industry that we’re in, it’s really hard to find people that feel safe for you, that understand you. It can be overwhelming. I feel like we’ve both really been there for each other.”

Hailey is always up for matching costumes with close friends. Last year she teamed up with Kylie Jenner to become witches using green face paint. As they stepped out for pizza, Kylie wondered aloud why everyone was staring at them.

To which Hailey quipped, “I feel like we're dressed so normal; it makes no sense.”
