Ricky Martin's 16-Year-Old Twins Make Rare Public Appearance, Looking All Grown Up
Ricky Martin’s twins, Matteo and Valentino, recently showcased how much they’ve grown during a rare family outing. At just 16 years old, they were nearly as tall as their father at a performance for presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
The “She Bangs” singer welcomed his sons via surrogate in 2008. This special event took place in Philadelphia, where Ricky shared an Instagram post featuring himself alongside Matteo and Valentino. The trio donned stylish all-black outfits, creating an adorable twinning moment that highlighted how much the boys have matured.
In the photo, Ricky wore a cozy sweater paired with matching slacks and leather boots. Matteo mirrored his father's style with a black shirt and suit jacket while sporting flowy pants and identical shoes. Valentino opted for a more classic look with a white button-down shirt, black tie, striped pants, and sneakers.
This wasn’t the first time the twins delighted audiences at one of their dad’s performances. In July 2023, Matteo and Valentino surprised Ricky onstage during a concert in Europe. A video shared on social media captured Ricky’s joy as his sons unexpectedly ran up to him to hype up the crowd before he continued his show.
"What a beautiful surprise!" Ricky captioned the post alongside a crying emoji. "When my twins jumped on stage with me for the first time in Locarno, Switzerland."
This raises the question: Are Matteo and Valentino considering careers in entertainment? Ricky believes there’s potential—and he's completely supportive of their aspirations.
"Matteo is more into the arts and Valentino is gonna spend his life in front of a screen because he wants to be the best YouTuber in the world," Ricky shared in an interview. "When I was 12 years old, I told my father that I wanted to be an artist and he supported me. I'm very thankful for that support; I want to do the same for my boys."
