Reunite with the Original Cast of High School Musical

A lot has changed since High School Musical debuted in 2006. Head back to East High to find out what Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and more stars are up to now.

It's been 19 years since the beloved franchise—starring Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, and so many more—premiered on Disney Channel, bringing all of us together. And ever since the movie's debut on January 20, 2006, the cast members have continued to bop to the top of their games, both professionally and personally.

The proof? Well, Hudgens started something new when she said "I do" to baseball player Cole Tucker during an intimate December 2023 ceremony in Mexico. Coleman and Grabeel, were, naturally, in attendance.

"I couldn't have dreamt it to be any better," Vanessa raved to Vogue after her vows. "I knew it was going to be magical, but it exceeded my expectations."

Three months later, she announced they were expecting their first child, meaning both she and Ashley Tisdale—who revealed her second pregnancy in March—are getting their heads in the motherhood game.

Vanessa's son—whose name has yet to be revealed—entered the world in the summer of 2024. Ashley and husband Christopher French's little one, Emerson, arrived just a few months later that fall, joining big sister Jupiter, already an avowed HSM fan.

"She screams out in public, ‘I’m Sharpay’s baby!’" Ashley, celebrating her 40th birthday July 2, revealed in a May TikTok. "I literally can’t.”

Meanwhile, Efron was soaring, flying with excitement after he got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in December 2023.

"I've been acting, singing and dancing for as long as I can remember," he said during his speech, "but never in my wildest dreams that I'd imagine I would be standing here today."
