Jason Sudeikis and Son Otis, 10, Spotted Together on Rare Public Outing
Jason Sudeikis and His Son Otis Enjoy a Day at the Basketball Game
On November 21, Jason Sudeikis was spotted enjoying a rare public outing with his 10-year-old son, Otis. The father-son duo attended a basketball game where the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Orlando Magic at L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena.
The Ted Lasso star, dressed in a black hoodie featuring artwork from Billie Eilish's album Hit Me Hard and Soft, along with a black cap, shared moments with Otis, who was casually dressed in a yellow hooded sweatshirt and blue pants. As they sat courtside, Otis munched on popcorn and let his long blonde hair flow freely.
This outing wasn't their first; both Jason and Otis have shown their enthusiasm for NBA games. They previously attended a Lakers game during the 2022-2023 season, capturing a memorable selfie together as they watched players warm up.
While basketball may be a shared interest between them, Jason revealed that his children seem to be more inclined towards music. In a 2023 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, he mentioned:
“They love making up songs. I come home, and as I’m coming up the stairs, I can usually hear a keyboard.”
The comedian attributed his kids' musical creativity to Billie Eilish’s documentary The World's a Little Blurry, noting how it inspired them. He reflected on how their artistic moment mirrored his own early experiences in comedy:
“When you see Billie and her older brother Finneas making music together and making each other laugh... it was kind of similar to when I would go visit my uncle George [Wendt] on the Cheers set and be like, ‘This is a job? You guys all joking around?’”
“I think they took that and were like, ‘OK, we’re gonna do this.’”
