Efron's Oatmeal Adventure: Zac Teams Up with Kodiak for Limited-Edition Flavor

Zac Efron, known for his roles in High School Musical and A Family Affair, has teamed up with Kodiak Cakes to launch a limited-edition oatmeal flavor.

The actor, who became the chief brand officer of Kodiak in 2022, worked closely with the company to develop an apple brown sugar pecan oatmeal that is not only delicious but also nutritious. The recipe features Efron's preferred ingredients, including chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and cranberry seeds.

“Developing this oatmeal with Kodiak was such a fun experience,” Efron said. “My goal was to create an oatmeal that's really delicious, and really good for you — so with less sugar and more nutritious ingredients.”

The new oatmeal boasts 14 grams of protein, prebiotic fiber, and 100% whole-grain oatmeal, making it a great option for those looking for a healthy breakfast or snack. It can be prepared by microwaving with water or steeping in hot water.

“I think we nailed it, and I'm so excited for people to try it. And I'm extremely grateful that Kodiak has decided to donate a portion of every sale towards a cause that's important to me — wildlife preservation,” Efron said.

Efron is partnering with Kodiak as part of their yearly “Keep It Wild” initiative, which aims to support the Vital Ground Foundation and other non-profit organizations. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this oatmeal will go towards supporting these organizations.

“We are so excited to be launching this limited-edition apple brown sugar pecan oatmeal with Zac,” said Chief Marketing Officer Cory Bayers. “Packed with protein and nutrient-dense ingredients, this oatmeal inspires consumers to get out and live epic adventures in the great outdoors. It also ties back to one of our core values of giving back, ensuring today's youth enjoys tomorrow's wild places.”

The limited-edition oatmeal is available exclusively at Walmart locations or on Walmart.com while supplies last.
